When I start feeling down in winter, I usually grab my camera and head out to explore. One day in early spring, I hiked up a muddy road full of frozen potholes to get to a spot by the creek. Luckily, I found a dry area where I could set up my camera gear. The golden reflections on the water caught my attention right away, so I moved closer and lay down on the rocks to take some photos. Even though it was still pretty cold outside, I liked how soft the water looked. I kept taking pictures until the sun went down behind the hill and my creative cup was full.
